This Sunday morning began with an impactful devotional by Joe Spinosi. He spoke about who the Holy Spirit is. It was the perfect way to get our minds ready for the day.
We spent our final hours at the Vajta castle changing our linens and cleaning up our rooms (vacuuming, mopping, changing the garbages, etc.) We also took a group picture in front of the castle. It was such a blessing getting to serve there with the Hungarian volunteers!
Thank you for praying for safe travels. Today was a heavy travel day. From Vajta, we took two trains, one metro, and one tram ride — a total of three hours traveling.
We arrived at the Danube International Church led by Arpi Arvad, planning to attend their 4:30 church service. With an hour to kill before service, we went to a nearby mall to have some much needed lunch.
For service, English and Hungarian was sung during worship. There was also a translator during the message.
We ended the day with some delicious ice cream at Hiszteria Cremeria, our favorite spot. While there, all the senior students, including Vinny and Esperanza, prayed for their trip to Ukraine tomorrow. Please keep the team in prayer — for safety and strength!
